The themes of this desk are fashioned after vintage A-Frame steel bridge supports and SBC Chevy 350 Cam Shafts or Connecting Rods (ConRods). Metal rivets add to the industrial / steampunk / dieselpunk look. The vertical supports are halves of actual SBC Chevy 350 Cam Shafts or ConRods which have been welded end-to-end. The Cam Shafts and ConRods have been glass-bead blasted and sealed in a clear coat. The bases are available in three different colors; gray, blue, and red. These tops are shown in Red Mahogany and Natural finishes but can be customized to any of 11 peened colors, as well as many wood finishes. See our Color & Style Options.
